My path into psychotherapy was actually a full career change and, at the same time, the realization of an inner call that had always been present in my life. Throughout both my professional and personal experiences, I have been deeply drawn to people and to the process of change. I naturally gravitated toward collaborative relationships grounded in curiosity, and I found meaning in helping others explore their motivations, uncover their inner resources and strengths, and support their growth. Walking alongside others as meaningful change unfolded always felt like a privilege to me, even before I had the language of therapy for it. Today, this journey has led me to practicing as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and membership with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

My work thoughtfully and creatively integrates a range of modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and attachment- and strength-based approaches, while remaining deeply rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed and mindfulness- based practices. I have a deep appreciation for the IFS model and for the power of self-exploration to increase awareness of our inner world and nurture each part of it as a path toward healing. I wholeheartedly believe that within us lies the power to drive the change we long for. Sometimes, all it takes is a little guidance to tap into those inner resources, and that’s where I come in.

I am passionate about supporting people through life transitions and moments of change, especially when moving forward feels overwhelming. I feel deeply humbled by witnessing the profound transformations that can unfold during these times. I see moments of transition as powerful opportunities for self-growth and healing, and for fostering a deeper sense of inner peace and connectedness. Collaboration is central to how I work. I often think of my role as holding a candlelight and gently directing it toward places in a client’s inner world that are ready to be seen, explored, and nurtured. Sometimes places they haven’t been able to look at before.

From my own journey of embracing a foreign country as my home to navigating a complete career transition, parenting challenges, and the end of a marriage, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of change. In my experience guiding transformative journeys, I have walked alongside individuals as they have reshaped their relationship with themselves, established healthy boundaries, deepened connections with loved ones, and navigated the ever-evolving landscape of transitional phases.

In our work together, you’ll find a warm and supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment. I’ll walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity as you gain new insights, reconnect with yourself, and take meaningful steps toward a more grounded and fulfilling life, thoughtfully and intentionally.

Outside of my passion for sparking journeys, I love singing with my choir (and anywhere else I get the chance to), discovering new restaurants or live music spots that warm my heart, being awed by exploring places for the first time (especially if this involves hopping on a plane), and spending quality time with the people I love and with myself.

My path into psychotherapy was actually a full career change and, at the same time, the realizati... Read More
